Tray, designed by Ufficio Tecnico Alessi and in production since 1966, is one of the oldest products in the catalogue Alessi. It has become a classic, a true archetype of bar and private service "essential" objects, with its proportions, lightness and function.

Riki Watanabe's simple tray won the Good Design Prize in 2001. Watanabe is considered to be one of the pioneers of after-war Japanese design.
